Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Strategic Planning and Implementation - Developing and executing the overall channel strategy and business plan, aligning with the bank's overall corporate banking goals. Specifically for the bank’s host-to-host and API channl.
- Channel Optimization - Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the channel
- Customer Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performance Management - Monitoring channel performance, setting targets, and implementing strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
- Risk Management - Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the channel management function.
- Team Leadership - Providing leadership and guidance to the channel management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Innovation and Improvement - Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in channel processes and customer experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience - A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the banking industry, with a significant portion in corporate banking, channel management, and sales.
- Qualifications - A relevant degree (e.g., BCom, MBA) and potentially a post-graduate qualification in digital transformation
- Technical Skills - Strong understanding of banking products, digital channels, and relevant technologies.
- Leadership Skills - Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive performance, and manage stakeholders.
- Business Acumen - Deep understanding of the corporate banking market, including key drivers, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Communication Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge - Familiarity with relevant banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Risk Awareness - Strong understanding of operational risk and the ability to implement effective risk management strategies.
