Job Title: Paintshop Paint Repairman – 2K Spot
Location: Gqeberha
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Complete the job tasks in strict accordance with the quality and quantity of the paint repair process, promote the rapid delivery of the vehicle, and make records as required;
· Responsible for identifying vehicle paint defects, quickly formulating repair methods and implementing, able to independently complete paint mixing, polishing, spraying, touch-up, and other operations, with 2K spot repair experience.
· Carefully implement the safety procedures of Paint Shop, carry out daily inspection of tools and equipment as required before operation, and take good care of the tools and other facilities used
· Responsible for identifying material requirements related to painting repair, maintaining the environment of the touch-up room, and doing 5S work on site;
· Obey the management, complete other temporary work arranged by the leader
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Matric/ Grade 12
· 5 years of work experience in the Automotive Industry
· Spot Repair Certificate
· Automotive Spray painting NQF Level 2-4
· Have rich experience in 2K spot repair
COMPETENCIES:
· Have rich experience in paint repair work
· Proficient in Spray painting, polishing, paint mixing, and other operations
· Understand the paint repair workflow, can skillfully use painting tools, tooling, etc.
· Have a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit.
· An individual who takes initiative and is proactive.
· Must be flexible to work additional hours at short notice due to operational requirements.
