TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER

Cape Town - Our client, A Global leader in the distribution of electrical, electronic, mechanical & industrial products are looking for a Key Account Manager. Job purpose The key purpose is to maximize profitable sales growth by enhancing existing relationships, developing and creating value across the various functions and levels of the customer organization and to introduce and develop new contacts.

By using industry thought leadership and customer insight, they must develop and grow the awareness of the company as an invaluable supplier and grow the company’s share of customer spend. Role/Experience requirements: ü At least 3 - 5 years successful solution sales experience ideally within in a business-to-business selling and account growth environment

ü Grade 12 ü Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in business or related to technical innovation (Mechatronics, IOT, Research, Science, Electronics) ü Technical aptitude and/ or experience with an affinity for the latest advancements in technology

ü Developed business and commercial acumen ü Digitally capable, as well as Innovation and technology capable ü SAP CRM experience would be beneficial

ü A strong working understanding of Microsoft office packages ü Familiar with value led sales techniques. ü Mathematical capability and confidence in financial calculations

ü Effective negotiation skills ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simply and concisely communicate value and complex solutions. ü A high degree of learning agility

ü Hold a current SA Driver’s License
