We are seeking a reliable and organized Stock Controller with knowledge of automotive parts. The role involves managing inventory, ordering parts, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to support smooth workshop operations (but not limited to). You will also conduct stock takes, check inventory accuracy, and plan driver routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of automotive parts
- Order parts by obtaining at least three quotes and coordinating with suppliers
- Follow up to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records
- Verify stock accuracy and reconcile discrepancies
- Plan driver routes for efficient delivery and pickups
- Coordinate with procurement, workshop, and logistics teams
Requirements:
- Knowledge of automotive parts
- Experience in stock control or inventory management preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory systems and reporting
