The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Healthcare Recruiter to join our expanding team. This pivotal remote role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on healthcare accessibility from anywhere, proactively identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier medical talent, specifically targeting MDs, DOs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Physician Assistants (PAs) for our innovative telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities
Proactive Talent Sourcing & Engagement
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse range of medical professionals (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs), from initial outreach to successful placement.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using a variety of channels, including professional networks, online databases, social media, and direct outreach/headhunting.
- Actively identify and engage passive candidates, building strong pipelines of qualified medical talent aligned with Welltel’s mission and values.
Candidate Relationship Management
- Conduct in-depth interviews and screenings to assess clinical expertise, telehealth suitability (e.g., "webside manner," tech comfort), cultural fit, and professional demeanor.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for Welltel, effectively communicating our unique value proposition and the benefits of practicing telehealth with our organization.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, guiding professionals seamlessly through the recruitment and onboarding process.
Strategic Collaboration & Process Excellence
- Collaborate closely with Welltel's leadership and clinical teams to understand evolving staffing needs, ensuring alignment between recruitment efforts and business objectives.
- Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and generate insightful reports.
- Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, licensing requirements, and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies.
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to ethical guidelines, compliance regulations, and Welltel's high standards of professionalism.

- Collaborative Across Time Zones: Available to work during 9 AM - 5 PM EST for collaborative meetings with the New York-based team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Minimum of one year of dedicated healthcare recruitment experience.
- Demonstrated experience with full-lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Doximity, specialty job boards).
- Strong understanding of U.S. medical licensure and credentialing processes (training provided on specific New York requirements).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
Welltel offers a straightforward and competitive compensation package for this independent contractor role, designed to reward your contributions to our growth.
- Hourly Rate: $10 USD per hour
