We are looking for a financial, administrative, and analytical intern to support the South African Client Markets team in Cape Town.

About the Team
The Client Markets team is tasked with delivering Swiss Re's reinsurance solutions to clients, setting strategy, and ensuring effective communication between members of cross-functional account teams to execute that strategy.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will be the point of contact and partner for Client Managers (client-facing employees).
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Sales Operations Analyst on their portfolios — including contract management and drafting, data gathering, portfolio analysis, and reporting
- Collaborating and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams (Technical Accounting, Claims, Underwriting, etc.), with participation in projects and initiatives
- Preparing ad hoc presentations for client visits, client events, and conference
About You
You have recently graduated and have the ability to be a great teammate with constructive and open-minded thinking. You are reliable, dedicated, have strong ownership, pay attention to detail, and can prioritize effectively.
Essentials:
- No more than 1 year of prior experience
- Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or diploma in finance, economics, or related fields
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Data literacy — ability to read and interpret data is an advantage
- Good communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Team player — able to work independently while keeping the whole team in mind

This role is offered on the basis of an 11-month temporary contract, with an expected start date on 1st of September 2025. The gross monthly salary for this role is 9 000 ZAR full time.
