EXTERNAL VACANCY: ACCOUNTS CLERK x 1
We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and record-keeping. The Accounts Clerk will work closely with the Assistant finance Manager and other teams to support the smooth operation of Accounts processes. Their meticulous attention to detail and strong administrative skills will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements & Qualifications
· 1 year experience in a hotel finance environment.
· Gr 12 with accounting as a minimum.
· Opera PMS experience
· Pastel experience
· Any Inventory/Purchasing system
Key focus areas:
- Check daily voids from F&B
- Check duty meals daily
- Accounts receivable
- Daily revenue report
- Posting daily revenue and receipts to Pastel
Would be required to assist with the following functions from time to time:
- Processing all purchasing invoices on Inventory system
- Accounts Payable
- Credit Card reconciliations daily
- Daily F&B Audit
- Weekly flash food cost
- Journal all sundry supplier invoices to Pastel
- Receiving of orders
- Petty Cash
