Our client, a non-profit, medical scheme is seeking a Qualified Actuary for the Pretoria area.

Duties include but not limited to:
Establish and lead the company’s new in-house actuarial and data analytics function with responsibilities spanning optimisation, efficiency, risk management, product development and competitive positioning.
Coordinating with external actuaries for reviews and statutory reporting, as well as presenting findings to executive management and translating data insights into operational recommendations.
Consults with clients on specific needs and provides actuarial solutions.

Requirements:
Fellowship of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
10 years’ actuarial experience with a minimum 3 years within the insurance or healthcare industry including modelling and data analytics.
