Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring effective inventory management of all chemicals\consumable stock
- Timeous processing of MRO Pos as well as related returns thereof
- Monitoring Consumable stock levels, and coordinating replenishment orders to maintain optimal inventory.
- Ensuring timeous deliveries while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to all governance standards
- Coordinate departmental monthly\weekly stock counts and ensure adherence to stock count procedures.
- Guide, motivate and support the team to achieve goals.
- Overseeing the efficient flow of consumables\Chemicals within the facility
- Overseeing the process of receiving\despatching, ensuring quality and condition against purchase orders while also reporting discrepancies or damages to relevant parties.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- Logistics diploma or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Relative warehouse experience.
- Working knowledge of MS office/Excel and SAP.
- Understanding of standard operating procedures within Dry Goods environment.
- Be able to work independently
- Experience in stock management.
- Adapt well under pressure
- Results driven
