Highbury Media T/A Habari Media, a leading media and advertising agency is seeking a professional and friendly receptionist to join our team in Cape Town.
As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanour, and a strong customer service orientation. The receptionist will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as assisting with the company's switchboard, scheduling appointments, handling mail and deliveries, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage the switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate parties
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school matric certificate or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office software
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners and fax machines
