The candidate:
We are looking for an experienced, passionate CAT Educator to join our team from 1 January 2025.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- A university graduate teaching qualification is required. (Post graduate studies in a related field is an advantage).
- At least 2 year’s recent experience of teaching CAT up to Matric level is preferred. The ability to teach Robotics for Grade 8 and 9 would be advantageous.
- Highly regarded subject expert, with experience of marking NSC CAT papers is would be beneficial.
- Proven record (recent QA5) of teaching excellence (CAPS) and use of effective, innovative teaching strategies, including the use of technology in the classroom.
- Knowledge of and passion for e-Learning is highly recommended.
- Active involvement in the school extra-mural programme with high awareness of and commitment to the holistic development of learners is essential.
- Strong commitment to and embodiment of our School’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.
- Demonstrated commitment to life-long learning and personal professional development.
