Overall objective of Job Function
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our food service operations at the new unit in Springs. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day catering operations, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Develop menus in line with client expectations and dietary requirements
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage procurement
- Lead and develop catering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Maintain strong client relationships and respond to feedback proactively
- Ensure high standards of presentation, portion control, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in catering management or hospitality leadership
- Relevant culinary or hospitality qualification
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety protocols
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive operational efficiency
