We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator with experience in CNC Milling to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring that components are machined to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up CNC milling machines according to technical drawings and production requirements.
Select and load tooling, jigs, and fixtures as required.
Perform first-off inspections using measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure that workpieces meet quality and dimensional standards.
Maintain daily production documentation and machine logs.
Adhere to health, safety, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling applications.
Proficient with measurement and inspection equipment.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in CNC Machining/Toolmaking (advantageous).
Desirable Attributes:
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Team player with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
Knowledge of ISO standards will be advantageous.
