About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to support a patient in their home during the day. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily tasks, while respecting the privacy and independence of the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility and physical exercises as required
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary needs
- Administer or remind medication according to schedule
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
- Perform light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, etc.)
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the family/medical team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a caregiver or health care assistant
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally mature
- Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions
- Fluent in [Insert Language(s) Required]
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transport
- Clear criminal background check
- Relevant certification (Home-Based Care, First Aid, or similar) preferred
Work Schedule:
- Day shifts only (no overnight or live-in responsibilities)
- Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend availability preferred)
