CFW Fans (Pty) Ltd, an SABS ISO 9001 certified company, holds a prominent market position in Southern Africa, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fans for the industrial, mining, power generation, and HVAC sectors.
Since its founding as Continental Fan Works in 1966, CFW has built extensive expertise and knowledge, establishing itself as a trusted supplier of industrial fans to leading corporations both within South Africa and internationally.
The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering. We are currently seeking an Electrical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Testing of motors, wiring up and running of fans
- Maintenance of power tools, welding machines, welding cables, welding torches
- Breakdowns on machinery
- Installation of lights, plugs, isolators (Cable Runs), wall sockets
- Electrical work on Mine Fans: fitting Sprague, mounting terminal block, wiring up and testing of fans via Variable Speed Drive (Including setting up and programming).
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Industry experience, particularly in HVAC, ventilation, or related applications is advantageous
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans; valid driver’s license essential;
