Your Mission
- Perform repairs and maintenance on Electrical equipment
- Perform fault-finding.
- Attend mill wide breakdowns as per operational requirements
- Electrical installations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with minimal supervision – accurately and timeously
- Excellent technical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team environment
- Must be able to work efficiently in a high pressure & hazardous environments
- Adhere to Safety, Health, and Environmental issues
- Daily routine walkabouts – flagging equipment risks to Supervisor
- Manage SAP work order system management
- Involved in shut planning, execution, and commissioning
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ post trade experience
- Minimum Matric
- N3 plus Trade Tested Electrician
- Wireman’s licence (SANS 10142) will be advantageous
- Experience on PLC’s and AC Drives
- Experience on SAP
- Computer literacy
- Must be prepared to carry out standby duties.
- Pulp and paper mill experience will be advantageous
