Role Summary
As a Freelance Sales Executive, you will own the front end of our UK sales cycle, identifying opportunities, executing strategic outreach, and qualifying high‑value prospects. You’ll qualify and nurture high‑potential leads, then hand them over to our managing partners to convert into clients. This part‑time, contract offers uncapped earnings, performance bonuses, and the potential for retainer or permanent roles as we expand in 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Lead Generation & Market Intelligence
- Identify and research 50+ UK‑based SMEs per month in target sectors (tech, professional services, e‑commerce).
- Map buying cycles, budget timelines, decision‑maker hierarchies and communication norms.
- Maintain a dynamic pipeline of highly qualified prospects.
Multi‑Channel Prospecting & Engagement
- Design and execute personalised campaigns via cold and warm calls, email, LinkedIn and sector‑specific channels (forums, events).
- Develop tailored pitch decks and proposals that address each prospect’s specific challenges (e.g., reducing operational costs while ensuring UK compliance).
Expert Qualification & Seamless Handover
- Qualify leads rigorously using BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or GPCT (Goals, Plans, Challenges, Timeline) frameworks.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive handover dossiers including stakeholder maps, agreed solutions and decision timelines to managing partners.
Reporting & Market Feedback
- Keep accurate records of all activities and lead statuses in CRM (HubSpot or equivalent).
- Provide actionable insights from client conversations to refine messaging, service offerings, and sales strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ demonstrable success in B2B sales or lead generation, with emphasis on cold outreach and relationship nurturing in the UK or comparable markets.
- Proven track record of converting initial interest into qualified pipeline opportunities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in professional English.
- Strong presentation skills and experience creating customised pitch materials.
- Deep understanding of UK business culture, buying cycles, and market nuances.
- Self‑starter mentality: highly organised, resourceful, and comfortable working autonomously in a target‑driven environment.
- Reliable internet connection and own device; consistent availability during UK business hours (9 AM–1 PM GMT).
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms is advantageous but not essential.
Working Arrangement
- Fully remote; South Africa‑based candidates preferred to align with our social mission.
- Part‑time commitment (15–25 hours per week), with core overlap during UK business hours.
- Initial contract through December 2025, with potential for extension, retainer agreements, or permanent placement based on performance.
Compensation & Growth
- Comission: Competitive percentage on every deal you qualify that successfully closes (uncapped).
