- Perform daily duties as per department requirements this will include but not limited to, washing, sorting, drying, packing & storing equipment in designated areas
- Report any Equipment not working to your line Manager or Supervisor
- Check all equipment for labels
- Check all equipment to see if anything is, broken or chipped and report accordingly
- Ensure that all related documentation is completed accurately and timeously, this will include recording of breakages and temperature controls.
- Check and ensure that all tables, shelves, trays and crates are washed and stored correctly in holding area
- Check and ensure that sufficient crates are available and clean
- Ensure that ovens & oven racks are washed correctly for all Production kitchen
- Ensure that all machines and equipment are cleaned at the end of each shift and faulty equipment is reported
- Check that overall cleaning and hygiene standards are always maintained
- Ensure that the chemicals are used correctly and for the correct purposes
- Adhere to all HACCP rules and regulations including, but not limited to: personal hygiene, CCP documentation, food storage, hand-washing rules and regulations, glove policy, sickness policy.
- Maintain effective communication with other kitchen departments and promote effective employee relations
- Report any wastage if picked up when cleaning is done
- To ensure that all equipment and materials are not left in dangerous state.
- Ensure that all duties are completed before end of shift
- Any other reasonable task that may be required by management
