Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification preferably a Bachelor’s

Degree/equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or

related fields.

• 8 years relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of ICT principles, Business Value of ICT and the

Management of ICT’s in organizations.

• Computer literacy: MS Office and SAP proficiency
• Valid Code B drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

• Lead and manage a comprehensive function related to

Development Management Business Processes and Solutions

implementation and Integration Programmes

• Motivate, justify and manage capital and operational budgets for

programmes and projects in line with City of Cape Town financial

policies, procedures and applicable legislation.

• Undertake liaison role between Corporate IS&T, Development

Management Business Units and other City of Cape Town

Directorates and business units.

• Manage programme/project human resources (permanent or

contractors) and promote a productive work environment.

• Ensure the application of sound programme/project management

methodologies encompassing quality management, control and

organisation, risk management and reviews to align with

programme/project objectives.

• Lead and Manage the Day to Day Ongoing support of

Development Management business processes and solution post

implementation of projects/programmes.

• Manage indicators associated with the implementation, monitoring

and reporting of Development Management Sector Plans, IDP and

SDBIPS
