Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in product development and play a key role in supporting our innovative furniture design process? The Product Development team is looking for a proactive, organized, and physically capable Product Development Intern to join us for a rewarding and fast-paced internship opportunity.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma NQF 6 in Product Development
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Physically capable (able to lift up to 40 kg safely).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to change.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Physical Material Handling: Assist with moving, organizing, and setting up furniture components and prototypes (occasional lifting up to 40kg required).
- Raw Material Collection & Delivery: Work with the Administrator to source and transport materials like fabric swatches and hardware for sample production.
- Sample Room Maintenance: Keep our sample room and showroom organized, clearly labeled, and presentation-ready.
- Administrative Support: Help with photocopying, filing, organizing documents, and general admin support for the team.
- Logistics & Dispatch: Prepare and pack materials for both internal and external transfers, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Workspace & Tool Maintenance: Help maintain clean, organized, and safe shared workspaces and tools.
- Learning & Adaptability: Embrace opportunities to learn about furniture development and manufacturing. Be flexible and responsive to tasks assigned.
Duties and responsibilities are, not limited to the above, all reasonable and lawful requests within your scope of work/abilities given by management are to be followed whether this is inside or outside the factories
