A well-established Point of Sale technology company is looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to strengthen our technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation and a passion for delivering efficient, reliable solutions to clients.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1 year of practical IT support experience.
- Strong grasp of computer networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN).
- Practical knowledge of POS hardware setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases (basic administration, queries, and troubleshooting).
- Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues.
- Clear communication skills and a professional customer service approach.
- Driver’s license is advantageous.
Role Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain POS systems and related technology.
- Deliver remote and on-site technical assistance to clients.
- Carry out troubleshooting and maintenance on hardware, networking, and database systems.
- Support MySQL databases to ensure system stability.
- Conduct system upgrades, preventative checks, and repairs.
- Ensure client issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
