Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline support for IT hardware, software, and networking issues across multiple retail sites.
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
- Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, printers, barcode scanners, and back-office computers.
- Monitor and support network services and infrastructure.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Assist with system updates, software deployments, and backups.
- Maintain IT documentation for network diagrams, system setups, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support IT onboarding for new employees and stores.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT support experience, ideally in a retail environment.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Hands-on experience with retail hardware (POS systems, printers, handhelds, etc.).
- Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in IT.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+or A+.
- Experience with firewall configurations and network security tools.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge is a plus.
