The ideal candidate must be able to design, draw and detail (reinforcement and steel) unsupervised, using appropriate software.

The ideal candidate should have gained decent experience of the full spectrum of the civil engineering/built environment industry projects (residential; commercial; industrial).

The successful candidate will be required to oversee the delivery of the technical team and look at continuous improvement in streamlining business delivery to clients including developing and refining best practice standards and systems.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working within a small and dynamic team that pushes to meet deadlines and strives to deliver quality and service to all customers (clients; allied professionals etc). The opportunity provides growth opportunities as a person as well as in the business.

Min BSc Eng (Civil); BEng (Civil); BTech (Civil/Str) qualifications

Strong technical knowledge in engineering with a focus on structural engineering

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience in project management, including leading projects, preparing proposals, and managing budgets and schedules

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in conducting research and preparing technical reports

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional engineer or technologist registration is required
