The Junior Business Analyst plays a foundational role in supporting the analysis, documentation, and delivery of business solutions that address operational challenges or enable strategic opportunities. Working under the mentorship and direction of more experienced business analysts or portfolio managers, the Junior BA assists in gathering and validating business requirements, documenting current and future state processes, and participating in discussions related to functional requirements and solution design to ensure business needs are accurately understood and documented. This role provides critical support in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by helping to ensure a shared understanding of objectives and solution requirements. The Junior BA contributes to the development and maintenance of project documentation including but not limited to Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and end-user training material. They also support testing activities (such as test case creation and user acceptance testing support) and assist with stakeholder communications. As part of solution validation, the Junior BA helps ensure that business requirements are met, including verifying that user experience (UX) considerations have been addressed. Throughout these activities, the Junior BA continuously builds knowledge of business domains, analytical techniques, and delivery frameworks.
