The role in a nutshell:
The Quantitative Trader will be responsible for implementing and maintaining trading strategies, with a focus on market making. This role involves active monitoring of the market making portfolio and crypto inventory, implementing high-frequency algorithms and applying quantitative analysis to establish and optimise a market.
Your mission will be:
- Implement and deploy approved trading strategies.
- Manage crypto inventory and the market making portfolio, ensuring efficient assets allocation.
- Monitor and manage the profitability of the trading strategies and portfolio against risk limits.
- Design rigorous high frequency algorithms and apply asymmetries.
- Perform regression testing to establish and optimise the performance of trading strategies.
- Continuously optimise parameters to enhance trading performance.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of strategies and architecture
A little about you:
- An intuition for stochastic processes and its applications in finance.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Rust),
- Functional understanding of SQL, Looker, Databricks.
- Able to grasp concepts related to market mechanics, financial instruments, and trading strategies.
- A keen interest in market making and high-frequency trading.
