PURPOSE
The role is responsible to ensure the continuous monitoring and the safety of our employees on all mineral processing facilities that will include the monitoring of all company vehicles
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety, Health , Environment and Quality
Conduct pre-shift meetings
Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures
Always behave safe
Prevent spillages that can negatively influence the environment
Operations
Maintain good housekeeping standards
Optimise quality outputs
Report and rectify process deficiencies
Ensure full equipment utilisation
Monitor sampling procedures
Loading of the trains within the specified timeline
Perform inspections on the rail
Ensure all reporting requirements are met
Ensure efficient operation of the control room
Maintenance
Inspect equipment in working area
Do general and rail maintenance
Execute planned maintenance tasks
Managing a team
Select and appoint competent and passionate people
Assign work
Monitor performance
Train and develop team members
Maintain order and discipline on shift
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 with Maths and Science
Basic Coal Preparation Certificate
EXPERIENCE
At least 3-5 years relevant Supervisory experience
Knowledge of rail and train loading activities on (Rail Load Out Sections) including belts & all their operational maintenance
