Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Programme Manager to manage our global creative studio, based in South Africa. This role is pivotal within the Brand & Design function of Corporate Affairs & Marketing at LSEG — home to a multi-disciplinary team combining strategic insight, data-driven storytelling, and omnichannel content execution.
This is not a traditional project management role. You’ll be responsible for embedding Agile delivery excellence across our studio operations, aligning cross-functional workflows, and scaling high-impact creative programmes that support global campaigns, digital channels and customer engagement.
With a background in Design Ops, Creative Ops or Marketing Ops, you will bring a strong delivery mindset to a fast-paced, high-volume studio, using Agile methodologies and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to drive measurable outcomes and continuous improvement. You’ll coach and lead a team of creative project managers while partnering with global stakeholders across brand, marketing, and digital functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed an Agile creative operating model, using Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), velocity tracking, and OKRs to drive efficiency and impact.
- Manage a team of creative project managers and producers to deliver programme, campaign, multi-tactic and channel-specific content — with speed, precision and brand integrity.
- Apply design thinking and user-centric approaches to enhance how we plan, produce and distribute creative work.
- Drive the implementation and evolution of Creative Ops frameworks, including intake, prioritisation, capacity planning, tooling (Workfront, Adobe stack), reporting and delivery management.
- Be a delivery partner to brand and campaign leads across regions and customer segments, supporting planning and execution of omnichannel marketing activities.
- Own workflow optimisation and ensure the end-to-end delivery process — from intake to delivery — runs at pace while maintaining brand and creative standards.
- Facilitate the creation of clear briefs, defined KPIs, and strategic alignment for all creative initiatives.
- Manage team performance, coach talent, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Build strong partnerships with agency partners and internal creative stakeholders.
- Deliver clear and consistent reporting on project status, backlog, team velocity and key delivery metrics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, educating teams on creative delivery best practices, Agile marketing methods, and brand operations.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in leading Design Ops, Creative Ops, Marketing Ops, or studio delivery within a global marketing or brand organisation.
- 5+ years in a senior Agile programme or delivery management role, ideally in a fast-paced, complex business or agency setting.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and scaling Agile delivery models including sprint planning, retrospectives, velocity, burn-down charts, and OKRs.
- Strong background in workflow tools such as Workfront and the Adobe Creative/Marketing stack.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage, influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled at coaching and developing teams, with a commitment to building high-performing, collaborative cultures.
- Confident problem solver with the ability to triage multiple priorities while driving outcomes and upholding quality.
- Deep understanding of the creative production lifecycle across B2B campaigns, digital marketing, and brand content.
- Highly organised and data-literate — able to create, interpret and act on performance reporting to optimise operations.
