Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare deceased individuals for burial or cremation with care and professionalism
- Perform embalming and restorative work
- Coordinate with funeral directors and families to ensure respectful presentation
- Maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the mortuary
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Mortuary Science or equivalent qualification
- Valid embalming certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mortuary environment
- Strong attention to detail and respect for the deceased and their families
- Emotional resilience and excellent communication skills
- Registration with relevant professional bodies is advantageous
