As an Operations Support Manager you will ensure that all operational, project, and governance processes are aligned with the broader commercial strategy. The Operations Manager for Business Development is a strategic and execution-focused role responsible for optimizing internal operations that support revenue growth and client acquisition. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage project pipelines, streamline client onboarding, enforce compliance standards, and support vendor financial workflows.
Are you someone who can:
Manage Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and internal controls to uphold business integrity.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, invoicing workflows, and partnership contracting processes.
- Manage risk registers and control frameworks to support audit readiness and mitigate operational risks.
Execute Project and Operational Management
- Lead business development operations to support client acquisition and growth initiatives.
- Manage multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor sales pipeline activity, project progress, and revenue performance against targets.
- Coordinate internal processes to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
Improve Processes and Perform Analytics
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
- Track and analyze KPIs and performance metrics to assess and optimize business development effectiveness.
- Drive accountability across teams to meet revenue and performance goals.
Education and Experience that you need to have:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
- Experience working within compliance-heavy or regulated environments.
- Experience in operational or project management roles, preferably within business development.
