The Partner Account Manager is responsible for the grow and management of strategic relationships within our partner ecosystem. The Partner Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor between the company and its business partners. This role focuses on driving mutual growth through collaboration, support and strategic alignment. The Partner Account Manager will be responsible for keeping a good relationship between our clients and their resellers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. DEVELOP AND MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS:
o Act as the primary liaison between the company and assigned partners.
o Build trust and ensure consistent communication to deepen engagement.
2. PARTNER ENABLEMENT:
o Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to partners.
o Ensure partners understand our solutions, value propositions, and sales processes.
3. DRIVE REVENUE:
o Create joint business plans to drive sales, marketing, and technical alignment.
o Identify new opportunities for co-selling, lead generation, and territory expansion.
4. PERFORMANCE MONITORING:
o Track partner KPI’s and manage quarterly business review.
o Analyse sales performance and forecast partner contribution to revenue.
5. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and support teams to align go-to-market efforts.
o Escalate and resolve partner issues quickly and effectively.
6. COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:
o Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
o Complete and submit regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and partner activities.
7. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Education:
Matric certificate.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales, account management, or partner management. Experience in a managerial role an advantage
- Experience in the telecommunications industry an advantage.
- Proven track record of experience working with Resellers, Value Added Resellers (VAR’s), Managed Service Providers (MSP’s), System Integrators or Technology Partners.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques.
- Experience managing multi-location or regional sales teams is preferred.
- Proficient with CRM systems an advantage.
