We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst, experienced in Hogan and Plexus Systems, specifically aimed at Customer engagement and solutions for overdrawn accounts. Candidates will ideally have a background in Collections and Recovery functions, including but not limited to, negotiating payment arrangements, initiating meaningful customer conversations to prevent default, and assessing client profiles for risk analysis. Candidates must be able to perform Early Risk identification to provide support to Collection and Recovery teams, to help manage and control credit exposure and impairment charges.
Are you someone who can:
- Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members
- Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor daily overdrawn printouts and undertake refers to reduce overdrawn accounts
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
- Monitor and control Plexus queues to reduce number of activities required to zero.
- Monitor / manage / close dormant accounts to increase retention of client base and decrease cost
- Monitor and manage the categorisation of accounts within portfolio and manage triggered accounts to ensure client portfolio is up to date.
- Monitor and manage the collection process to increase efficiencies and increase recovery
- Gather and distribute relevant business information
- Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies
Requirements:
- Matric
- NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification, or a recognized equivalent
Additional Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in collections and recovery
- Experience on Hogan and Plexus
- Account risk management
- Payment arrangements
