As a Procurement Specialist supporting a major UK retail brand, you’ll be at the centre of supplier relationships and contract strategy, helping shape how the business engages with third parties.
This role blends commercial insight, legal awareness, and operational influence. You’ll manage the full contract lifecycle, lead supplier sourcing and onboarding, and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure every agreement supports business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from tenders to renewals and terminations
- Lead supplier sourcing and onboarding, including due diligence
- Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders on contract terms and risk reviews
- Drive cost savings and operational improvements through smart negotiation
- Maintain accurate contract records and procurement reporting
- Support process improvements across onboarding, offboarding, and renewals
What You’ll Bring:
- 24+ months’ experience in procurement or supplier management
- CIPS Level 3 (advanced certificate in procurement and supply operations) or similar certification
- Matric or NQF equivalent
- Understanding of contract structures, risks, and opportunities
- Confidence working with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
- Organised, analytical, and proactive approach
- Comfortable navigating commercial, legal, and operational conversations
- Flexibility to work UK hours
