Requirements

• A relevant 3 year qualification in Human Resources

Management or related field

• 2 -5 years relevant experience
• Must be in possession of a valid Driver’s license Code EB
• Knowledge of Government legislation relevant to Education

and Training practices

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Planning and Organising skills with good attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office package

Key Performance Areas

• Conduct research and investigations to obtain information

and design of substantial or complex programmes, system

or other specialist initiatives including Training and

Development trends/ methodologies

• Analysing and evaluating AET related research data and

other collected from a variety of sources e.g. external

sources such as DHET, WCED and applying this to projects,

systems, Policies and Procedure development for the

Department/Branch

• Ensure proper development interventions are linked to

competencies in the IPM, PDP and that this process is

facilitated via LSO

• Facilitating development of T&D projects/ interventions,

AET assessment tools and processes, SOP’s and their

implementation, working with other professionals from the

same or related disciplines

• Facilitating the enrolment of employees/students across

Directorates/Departments for placement within the AET

program

• Performing a leading role in the management of projects and

ensures the proper scoping, definition and successful

implementation and management of T&D projects takes

place within predetermined TQM requirements

• Develop suitable training materials and designing blended

assessment tools including but not limited to written training

manuals, video series, webinars and in person training.
