Position: General Manager
Location: High-End Luxury Restaurant
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the operations of a high-end, luxury restaurant renowned for its excellence in luxury dining. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing large, high-volume establishments of a similar calibre, with a strong understanding of luxury service standards, guest experience, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service and an elevated dining experience for all guests.
Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.
Develop, implement, and maintain operational strategies, SOPs, and service standards in line with the brand’s luxury positioning.
Drive revenue growth through effective financial management, cost control, and maximising profitability without compromising on quality.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining the highest standards throughout.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu execution aligns with the brand’s identity, seasonality, and guest expectations.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L reporting with a keen eye for detail and strong commercial acumen.
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring succession planning and retention of top talent.
Maintain strong relationships with guests, handling feedback with discretion and ensuring loyalty through exceptional service.
Develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives in line with the brand’s positioning and target audience.
Candidate Requirements
Extensive experience in a senior management role within high-end, luxury or fine dining restaurants, preferably in high-volume environments.
Proven ability to lead large teams with confidence, clarity, and empathy.
Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets, P&L, and driving profitability.
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with discerning clientele and staff alike.
A deep understanding of luxury service standards, guest experience, and operational excellence.
Innovative thinker with the ability to introduce new ideas while respecting established brand identity.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A polished and professional demeanour with an eye for detail and a passion for hospitality.
