We are an independent financial services brokerage operating within the insurance sector, who is seeking a Short-Term Insurance Crop representative to join their Short-Term Insurance Crop department. This role will be responsible for obtaining their own client portfolios and managing these portfolios ensuring high service levels through proactive communication, underwriting, and renewals.
The successful candidate will handle daily policy administration, ensure premium collections, and support retention strategies through regular client engagement.
All work is conducted internally with a strong focus on service delivery and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source and obtain your own client base in the crop insurance commercial lines
2. Ensure timely renewals, retentions, and claims
3. Provide policy advice on excesses, risks, and terms
4. Maintain accurate records and underwriting compliance
5. Source and compare quotes across multiple insurers
6. Handle cancellation interviews and offer retention solutions

Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
RE5 certification (compulsory)
NQF Level 4 qualification in financial services/insurance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance
Experience in crop insurance commercial lines
Remuneration
Commission based. Crop insurance offers large commissions. It is not salary based.
