Operations
Job Purpose
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems within manufacturing processes. Optimize production efficiency, ensure process safety, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting, and process data analysis and ensure that that facilities are always in excellent condition by performing regular maintenance and repairs.
Key Accountabilities and Outputs
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Demonstrates strong safety culture through personal behavior and commitment to environmental, health & safety.
Participates in the PACE culture of safety.
Develop preliminary scope for the instrument and control portion of capital and maintenance projects.
Communicate with vendors to determine applicability of products.
Provide technical support to maintenance instrument supervisors and technicians.
Provide technical help to investigate equipment and system failures and recommend corrective actions.
Identifies the technologies to be used for new applications, and extensions of current architectures
Must be capable of detailed design generation, implementation, integration, testing and on-site startup of systems
Technical resource for Planned Maintenance and Process Engineering designs
Maintain Master Data and Updating of Maintenance Systems to match group requirements while deploying focused improvement projects
Reduction in Downtime and Short stop management
Design, implement, and maintain best practices around a CMMS within manufacturing processes.
Optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and safety.
Monitor and analyze process data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and document standard operating procedures and best practices.
Train staff on the effective use of control systems and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering, and 5+ years of hands on implementation knowledge of introducing processes within a manufacturing environment. iprogramming/configuration experience required.
Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance as well as knowledge of building systems.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and process control or a related role.
Strong understanding applications in manufacturing, maintenance and processing
Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
WCM/TPM Knowledge
Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
