Job Overview:
As our Social Media & Content Creator at the Cradle Boutique Hotel, you'll be the voice and visual storyteller of our brand across digital platforms. You’ll manage our social media presence, engage with our online community, collaborate with influencers, and design compelling content that reflects the personality and values of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a content calendar for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest comments, messages, and reviews on social media
- Create high-quality content (photos, videos, reels, graphics, stories) to showcase the hotel’s offerings, guest experiences, events, and brand identity
- Design branded artwork and marketing materials (flyers, menus, digital assets, etc.) in line with the hotel’s visual identity
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align content with campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
- Work with local influencers and content creators to coordinate collaborations and generate engaging user-driven content
- Monitor trends and analytics to continuously improve engagement, reach, and performance
- Ensure brand consistency across all social and digital touchpoints
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar
- Strong photography and video editing skills (mobile and/or DSLR)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A good sense of visual storytelling and branding
- Passion for hospitality, design, and digital trends
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and collaborating across departments
