VACANT POSITION – Spa Receptionist
The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and guests visiting the Spa. This role plays a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all Spa visitors. The Spa Receptionist must be friendly, well organized, and possess excellent communication skills to handle client inquiries. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing reservations, responding to all emails within the set time frame, and provide excellent customer service to our guests
Key Responsibilities:
· Welcome, receive and direct visitors, while maintaining a tidy and organized Reception area
· Recording and confirming Spa reservations on Microsoft Office Suite, Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records.
· Attend to all incoming calls, assist with treatment inquiries, and offering information about products to all guests. Responding to all reception emails in a timely and professional manner.
· Manage daily schedules for all the therapist, client records and front desk operations efficiently, schedule, coordinate appointments, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
· Maximizing income by sales of retail products, engage with potential and existing clients, offering information about the products and services available to them.
· Provide full administrative and reception support to ensure the smooth running of the Spa, handling sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner, maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service and repeat business.
Requirements:
· Matric
· 2 to 3 years Spa Reception experience an advantage
· Strong computer literacy skills
· Strong administration skills as you may handle payments
· Excellent product knowledge
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Professional telephone and email etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills for greeting clients and addressing their needs with a welcoming personality.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments and assisting the inhouse guests.
· Hands-on problem-solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure and to take control of incidents
· A proactive attitude with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets, ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
· Must be well-groomed to present the brand, friendly, enthusiastic and well spoken, maintaining a professional appearance.
· Ability to work shifts, may need to be flexible and adaptable to changing schedules to meet the client’s needs, must be punctual, helpful and dedicated to deliver excellent guest service.
· Responsible for opening the Spa and for closing the Spa, running the day-end and submitting the daily cash up.
