As our Smart Service Supervisor, you’ll be the engine behind our workshop’s daily operations. You’ll lead a skilled team of technicians, ensure top-tier service delivery, and maintain compliance with safety and OEM standards. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Certification in automotive service (ASE or OEM-specific) – advantageous
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair or service operations
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily service operations and workflow across bays
- Lead, train, and motivate technicians and support staff
- Schedule jobs based on technician expertise and vehicle complexity
- Ensure quality control and adherence to manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and costs
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with parts, sales, and warranty departments to resolve issues
