Our client, a leading player in the compressor industry, is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Representative to join their dynamic sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to shape sales strategies, grow revenue, and build strong, lasting relationships across direct and distributor customer channels.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Lead Generation & Market Prospecting
- Proactively identify and qualify sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
- Research key markets and customer segments to uncover business opportunities.
- Present products or services to potential customers, highlighting benefits and value propositions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales agreements in line with company policies.
3. Customer & Distributor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business and upsell additional products of services. This pertains to direct and customers and distributor channel.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Exceed and meet sales targets and KPIs as set by management.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services and stay informed about industry trends.
- Provide technical expertise to customers and address their questions.
- Work closely with marketing, aftermarket service, and technical teams to align on sales strategy.
- Participate in internal meetings and training initiatives to stay aligned with business goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric.
- Proven track record in B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of the South African industrial, compressor markets and / or technical markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Time management and organisational discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Technical knowledge of compressor systems or related industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Multilingual abilities or additional technical certifications.
