*Temporary Afrikaans FAL Teacher Vacancy – Private School, Noordwyk (Midrand)
A respected private school in Noordwyk, Midrand is looking for a *qualified and passionate Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) teacher to join our team.* The ideal candidate will be able to teach Grades 1 to 5, inspiring young learners through engaging and effective language instruction.
*Position*: Temporary Afrikaans First Additional Language Teacher *with the possibility of becoming permanent*
*Location*: Noordwyk, Midrand
*Working Hours*: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00
*Start Date*: As soon as possible.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Teach Afrikaans First Additional Language to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 5.
- Deliver the curriculum in line with educational standards and school expectations.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Assist learners with homework and provide academic support.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities.

*Minimum Requirements:*
- Relevant teaching qualification (specialisation in Afrikaans FAL is advantageous).
- Experience teaching Afrikaans FAL in the Foundation and/or Intermediate Phase.
- Computer literate and in possession of a functional laptop.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and classroom management skills.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
