Travelinfo is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented researcher and writer with a strong command of English and, ideally, an understanding of the travel industry. This role is suited to someone with experience in journalism, communications, content research or the outbound travel trade or a strong graduate with the right skills and attitude.
The role has two core functions:
1. Sourcing and writing short, accurate travel alerts (in the morning and afternoon) on operational updates such as flight changes, strikes, weather disruptions, etc.
2. Researching and updating travel information on the Travelinfo platform, including visa requirements, health and safety guidelines and destination-specific details relevant to South African travel agents.

The Netherlands has extended additional entry checks and border controls until December 2025, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Controls are in place on major roads leading into the Netherlands, international trains and intra-Schengen flights.
The border controls were put in place for six months in December 2024 and have now been extended. Travelers are advised to have their passports when travelling from another Schengen-area country to avoid delays.
