The role in a nutshell:
A strategic business partner and crypto subject matter expert within the treasury team, focusing on treasury elements in product design. This role requires a strong finance background, crypto treasury experience and back-office knowledge to align financial requirements with tech, accelerate product delivery while ensuring robust financial risk management in product design.
Your mission will be:
- Act as a strategic business partner to our product and engineering teams. You'll contribute to and advise on product strategy and development, bringing a strong emphasis on the required treasury operational setup and efficient fund flows for all new and existing products.
- Clearly communicate complex treasury concepts and product implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and alignment.
- Provide expert input regarding risk identification and the seamless integration of robust risk processes into new product launches and modifications. Your insights will be key to safeguarding the company's assets and ensuring compliance.
- Support and drive the successful implementation of the company's top initiatives, specifically as they relate to crypto treasury functions and the essential fund flow inputs required for their success.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, product, and engineering. Your ability to build strong relationships and foster effective communication will be vital in achieving our corporate objectives.
- Provide critical input into the development of automated solutions that enhance treasury efficiency, improve financial controls, and optimize the integration between treasury systems and our product offerings.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of treasury policies and procedures, ensuring they align with product developments and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to assess the treasury implications of new product features and business models, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the crypto and treasury space, advising on potential impacts and opportunities for our products
- Proactively identify and resolve treasury-related issues that arise during product development and deployment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
A little about you:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline. Advanced degree in a related area preferred.
- 5 - 7 years of progressive corporate treasury experience, including experience with crypto or wallet operations at a crypto or fintech company.
- Must be a self-starter, a strong team player, have attention to detail, take ownership of initiatives, possess strong prioritization and organization skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Apply critical, analytical, and forward-thinking skills to problem-solving.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential for clear and effective communication of ideas and plans with all internal and external stakeholders.
