We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organided Vehicle Recon Clerk to join our dynamic team. As Recon Clerk you play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory of vehicles is properly inspected, documented, and prepared for sale. You will be responsible for managing the recon process, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining accurate records to support our sales and service operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Min Grade 12
- Previous experience in vehicle reconditioning, automotive repair, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles to identify and document any necessary repairs or enhancements.
- Coordinate with repair shops, service departments, and vendors to facilitate timely and efficient vehicle reconditioning.
- Maintain detailed records of all vehicle reconditioning activities, including repair histories and costs.
- Ensure that all vehicles meet company quality standards and are ready for display or delivery.
- Communicate effectively with sales teams, service managers, and other departments to address any vehicle-related issues or requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for vehicle reconditioning.
