Guest Service and Interaction
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverages.

Order Management
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate details clearly to the kitchen team.
- Process bills and handle payments efficiently.
Food and Beverage Service
- Serve food and beverages with precision and professionalism.
- Add garnishes to food before serving, ensuring presentation standards are met.
Dining Area Setup and Maintenance
- Arrange tables and dining areas according to fine dining standards.
- Stock serving stations with necessary supplies.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and service areas.
Preparation and Assistance
- Prepare hot or cold beverages and basic food items as required.
- Provide general assistance to ensure smooth service flow.
Reservation and Scheduling
- Schedule and manage dining reservations.
- Coordinate table assignments to maximize seating efficiency.
Required Competencies
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards, including table setting and etiquette.
- Familiarity with food and beverage pairings and the ability to explain menu offerings.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems for billing and payment processing.
Customer Service Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests professionally.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
- Conflict resolution skills to address and resolve complaints effectively.
Organizational Competencies:
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail in order taking, food presentation, and table arrangement.
- Efficient time management to ensure timely service.
Skills and Attributes

Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a waiter in a fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Certification in food and beverage service or hospitality is advantageous.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced fine dining environment.
- Requires evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Consideration:
Candidates, who are already residing in the Western Cape will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence. Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
