We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to accurately pick, pack, and prepare store and customer orders for dispatch. The role requires a strong focus on ensuring all orders are processed efficiently, invoices are correctly generated and verified, and dispatch timelines are consistently met. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (minimum).
- Certificate in logistics, supply chain, or administration (advantageous).
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate (especially Microsoft Excel and invoicing software).
- Physically fit - able to lift and move stock as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Picking & Packing:
- Accurately pick items according to picking slips or system-generated orders.
- Pack orders neatly and securely to minimize damage during transportation.
- Label and prepare parcels for delivery or collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the department shelves and working area.
- Assist with stock takes, inventory checks and stock replenishments when required.
- Report damaged or missing stock to the supervisor promptly.
Invoicing & Administration:
- Generate accurate invoices based on customer orders using company systems.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation (e.g, invoices) is printed and attached correctly.
- Cross-check picked items with the invoice for accuracy before dispatch.
