Job description:
An outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Wealth Adviser to join a top PSG Wealth Investment office. The wealth management role is extensive in scope but centres on the effective stewardship of sophisticated clientele book and their capital.
Responsibilities:
Key activities
- Receive, assess, process and record banking instructions on the relevant platforms
- Obtaining, recording and updating of FICA and FACTA requirements
- Maintain accurate records and timeous filing
- Handle all queries - Email or telephonic
- Incentivised to build the book
- Wealth administration
- Office support
Banking
- Receive and processing of instructions from introducers or clients relating to - payments, statements, opening and closing of accounts, inter-account transfers
- Obtaining, recording and updating of FICA and FACTA requirements
- Maintain accurate records and timeous filing
- Product knowledge on different account options, structures, rates, fees and overall account terms, conditions and restrictions applicable
- Resolve all queries - Email or telephonic
Cashbook
- Processing of monthly office payments
- Updating of monthly cashbook pertaining to receipts and payments and reconciliation against bank statement
- Calculation of office rent and splits between various teams
- Calculation of cash placement referral commission on the 1st working day of each month and receiving monthly invoices for payment (within the applicable month)
Other
- General administrative functions
- Marketing products and services
- Cross-portfolio involvement: Wealth, Employee Benefits, Assurance administration
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues in the daily running of the office.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12
- Diploma/BCom Finance
- Banking qualification will be advantageous
- 2+ years’ proven experience in a financial Service industry (Accounting/Marketing preferred)
- Existing client portfolio will be advantageous but not required
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Management/Execution of existing clients base, network within target markets to grow the client base
