Overall objective of Job Function
Sodexo is looking for (3) three experienced and passionate Cooks to join our team at the new unit in Springs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic kitchen environment where quality, teamwork, and service excellence are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Follow food safety protocols and company standards
- Assist with stock control, portioning, and waste reduction
- Support the catering team during service and special events
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cooking role, preferably in catering or hospitality
- Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen training
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
