We are looking for an accounting super to join our team in an accounting practice. The candidate must have completed articles as well as 2 years post articles in an accounting firm.
Duties but not limited:
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Performing external audits
- Reviewing of capturing and work prepared by junior staff
- Preparation and submission of EMP, VAT and income tax returns
- Dealing with SARS reviews and audits
- Assisting clients with queries and general accounting issues
- Ability and experience in managing and leading a team
- General Knowledge
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient with preparing financials on Caseware
- Xero Certified
- All SARS tax related knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be well organised and work well under pressure
- BCom Accounting / BCompt degree
- Completed articles or previous experience in an audit / accounting firm with 2 years post articles in a firm
- SAICA/SAIPA registered
- Own transport
- Behavioural Competencies

- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willing to learn
- Registered tax practitioner
