HIRING: Admin & Retail Assistant (5 days a week)
We are a retail shop selling 3D, home, office printers, electronics and consumables.
We are seeking an Afrikaans & English speaking, highly organised individual to join our team as an office and retail assistant. We would need assistance with daily admin/ordering, managing the phones, emails and WhatsApp line and assisting on the shop floor. Someone with similar experience will be required.
Basic Roles & Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Managing phone calls, emails and WhatsApp line
- Ordering stock
- Keeping track of stock levels in store
- Managing stock take with shop assistants
- Liaising with suppliers
- Controlling pricing and ensuring we are price-competitive
- Constantly keeping up to date with supplier prices and ensuring we have the correct prices in our system
- Assist with product uploads on our system
- Assisting with quotes and invoicing
- Assist on the shop floor
Key competencies
- Experience in Retail and similar role
- Very organised and multitasking abilities
- Punctual and has good time management skills
- Works efficiently and correctly and has strong admin skills
- Take initiative
- Able to motivate oneself
- Computer literate
- Excellent Communication
- Hard worker and willing to go the extra mile
- Willing to constantly learn about new products
Shop Location: York Street Boulevard, York Street, George
Office Hours: Monday – Fridays 08h30 – 17h30. Occasional Saturday from 08h30 – 13h00 when required.
